Water & Your Health

The Importance of Water in Maintaining Intracellular Hydration

Fluid fluctuations affect blood volume and intracellular hydration levels. This can be life threatening. When the amount of fluid within various cellular compartments is relatively constant, there is an exchange of solutes and water between compartments to maintain unique compositions. Individuals with more body fat have proportionately less total body water and are more susceptible to fluid imbalances that cause dehydration.

Total body water percentage decreases with age, resulting in inadequate cellular hydration. Most critical is the decrease in the ratio of intracellular hydration. The normal ratio is 60% intracellular, 40% extra cellular. The reason for change in this ratio is due in part to an increase in fat along with a decrease in muscle, and a decreased ability of the body to regulate sodium and water balance. With age, kidney function becomes less efficient in producing urine, and responses for conserving sodium weaken.

The body must continuously be in a proper state of hydration. Because 2.5 liters of water is lost each day through normal bodily functions, this must be replaced. There are two major issues that emphasize the need to keep the body adequately hydrated with water of the best quality, content, and structure so it can maintain homeostasis. First, the water we put in our body must be able to prevent toxins and chemical substances from accumulating and creating destructive influences on cells. Water must bring all minerals and nutrients required for cell metabolism, and remove any substances that can damage the cell. It must also be able to protect cell walls from damage and invasion. Second, since water is involved in every function of the body, it must act as a conductor of electrochemical activity, such as neurotransmission, by moving water from one nerve cell to another smoothly and effectively.

Movement of water in the body between cells (extra cellular fluid) is caused by osmosis. This is created by magnetic forces in the body, which keep the movement in balance. As water flows, changes in pressure create movement across the cell membranes. Any changes in pressure will allow proteins, minerals and other nutrients being carried by the blood to escape into spaces between vessels and deprive the cells of their vital needs to sustain life. When water in the blood is contaminated with chemicals, it enters the cells and changes their structure, which in turn could lead to changes in DNA. This is the start of the disease process, which is very similar to the aging process.

Water and the Body's Natural Healing Process

The human body was created to be in balance. We call this integrity, or oneness, or more commonly, homeostasis. Our body relies on its chemical processing plant to keep a metabolic balance. The body knows when it is being depleted of essential minerals and nutrients which are necessary to keep it balanced. When this happens, the body must draw from its reserve. But this can only be a temporary measure, until these reserves are once again replenished.

Our body becomes aware of its depletion when its energy level is low. If nothing is done, and if we continue to ignore its call for help, we allow our body to begin on the path of its destruction. When the body is neglected, it becomes vulnerable to attack from invaders from the outside. It is also open to attack from the inside by free radicals. Bacteria, which are essential for our survival, suddenly turn on us and destroy us.

The body fights to regain its integrity by calling on the immune system. Sometimes this is too late, especially if the body has been in a contaminated state for too long. This can result from poor quality of the water we put in our body everyday.

The body knows when it is drying out. The body can only keep its ability to remain balanced if it is given enough good water. Not just clean water, but water that can provide a good environment for the body to function and carry on its purpose of remaining in balance.

THE CHANGES THAT OCCUR AFTER MAGNETISATION OF POTABLE WATER AND THE IMPACT ON BIOLOGICAL AND PROCESS

Your body's pH

The pH of blood and body fluids must be balanced in order for the body's vital processes to function normally. Normal blood pH has a very small window of acid/alkaline pH balance.

Blood pH must range between 7.35 and 7.45. This means that there is an adequate amount of oxygen in the blood. Any slight decrease in pH will result in lower oxygen levels in the blood and, therefore, in the cells. Any drop in pH, no matter how slight, is the beginning of a disease state and affects when we age and how we age.

What is the chemistry of water that determines acidity or alkalinity? Acidic water contains more H+ ions than OH- ions. Electrons that compose water molecules are negatively polarized, which give them the ability to create the dynamic environment of the molecule. When electrons are lost, the molecule loses its ability to keep its pH balance.

Water with more OH- ions is alkaline. When the ions in water are balanced, it is neutral water. There is overwhelming evidence on why ion balance is critical to physical and emotional wellbeing of the body. If acidic minerals such as chlorine are added to drinking water, the amount of H+ ions increases because the hydrogen atoms give electrons away to the acidic minerals. Magnetic Water water is effective in balancing and keeping electron stability in ions because of its abundance of electrons.

Obesity & Magnetism

Introduction

Experience has shown that such an approach ensures the highest possible purity of the body, and internal ecology. Let's recollect the words or a prominent Russian scientist V.I. Vernadsky, "Not a single form of life can exist in its own created wastes". Yet we still and bombard ourselves with medical dope.

Ten years ago I read in the work of Hypocrites "Hygiene" that a man was born healthy, and all his diseases came to him through his mouth together with food. A thousand years later a prominent 6th century physician, Ibn Sina (Avicena), in his work " Treatise on Hygiene", spoke about the use of separate nutrition. If this is not done, the wrong composition of food impedes digestion. All the wastes remain in your intestine and become the cause of diseases.

In the book "The Correct Composition of Food" our contemporary Dr. Herbert Shelton develops this idea on the basis of modern understanding of the chemical composition of food and its conformity to the laws of digestion in gastrointestinal tract. I got extremely interested in this idea of separate nutrition. In such cases conditions are created for optimal digestion, the risk of littering intestines with their own wastes and saturating blood with toxins is avoided and therefore the risk of slow suicide becomes minimal.

Kurennov's "Russian Medical Book" totally proved my personal assumptions. The book gives a unique explanation of why people are sick and suffering for all their lives and why they die early, not finding out the reasons for their troubles. In the "Russian Medical Book" you can find X-ray shots of the large intestine of a practically healthy person at the moment when the wastes in it have become a greater part of its weight.

Having analyzed dependence of human health upon the nutrition order we can make only one possible conclusion. In nutrition like anywhere else in nature there are laws which you cannot violate.

So let us follow Dr. Herbert Shelton's theory about separate nutrition. According to his theory food should be subdivided into three groups, protein, and carbohydrate, living food.

According to his theory, protein is broken up in the gastrointestinal tract mainly by enzymes of acid composition, carbohydrate- by enzymes of alkaline composition and living food can digest itself. These products, as a rule, have not undergone any thermal treatment. They have nutritious substances and ferments for their breaking up. Fats are rather compatible with protein and carbohydrate.

At the same time let us study another law of Nature and talk about magnetic water. What is the secret of the life-giving force of magnetic energies?

God created the earth and gave it to people , having subordinated everything to one common Law. This Law is clear to us, we perceive it daily. It is Harmony: day-night, cold-warm, good-evil, and, at last, plus-minus. This Law is being observed by everyone in the Universe except man. Having received the priceless present of the perfect earth, we decided to improve on the perfect according to our own interest. We have mined billions of tons of ore, enmeshed the earth with gigantic metal wires. Submarines have been launched into the deep seas, thousands of planes and space ships are flying in the skies. So, we destroyed our environment but, first of all, we destroyed the geomagnetic situation of the earth.

Let us take an example:

Imagine that we took two glasses of water from the same place in the same river. The only difference would be if we would take the first glass a thousand years ago, and the second glass, today when water of this river is polluted. What kind of picture will we see? (see fig.).
In the first glass all the molecules would be in the right sequence: "plus-minus", "plus-minus"... And in the second glass we would see a totally different picture because most of the molecules would be in a chaotic order: This is a vivid example of dead water that we drink everyday. We can endlessly purify water trying to make it crystal clear but we will never be able to make it biologically active, i.e. Alive. Is there a solution to this?

Yes, there is! The discovery made by Russian scientists and the invention of special magnetic systems, allow us to correct the fatal mistake of people. After magnetizing water, immediately the molecules regroup themselves into a strict row and water becomes biologically active. After consuming magnetic water, our body receives energy and becomes capable of fighting various diseases, of the presence of which we might not even suspect.

Human bodies can also be viewed as the two glasses, since without the consumption of magnetic water, the order is chaotic.

It is very simple to realize the power of magnetic water by planting two flowers and watering one of them with regular water, and the other one with magnetic water. You will see how this fragile and tender creature of nature responds to the pure spring of magnetic water. So let's treat our organism as tenderly and carefully as we treat flowers.

Finally, I would like to address practicing doctors. I can assure you that numerous diseases will give in to the life-giving force of magnetic water, in combination with separate nutrition. The results are so vivid that you will be able to see them on the 2nd or 3rd day after beginning of the treatment described in this work. First of all, bedridden patients badly need this treatment. If you use different medical magnetic systems during the course of treatment, you can fully avoid using tablets and in some cases, the scalpel. You can get acquainted with the list of magnetic systems at the end of the book. Use our knowledge and take it to people.

How to magnetize water?

SYSTEMS FOR PURIFICATION AND MAGNETIC TREATMENT OF DRINKING WATER

The Magnetic Funnel and Half-inch Magnetron are designed to magnetize liquids. Water and water solutions passed through the magnetron-funnel and half-inch magnetron acquire a finer and more homogeneous structure. It significantly increases their fluidity, dissolving capability and biological activity.

As a result organoleptic qualities of magnetic water improve and changes of ionic balance and biological properties positively affect human organism, animals and plants.

Usage of such water has a preventive and curative effect: it reduces chances of formation of stones, improves metabolism, facilitates the extraction of salts from the organism, stimulates gastrointestinal functions. Water treated By magnetic field is medically prescribed for treatment of urinary and gall stone cases, arteriosclerosis, arthritis, metabolic disorders.

So let's begin to work on ourselves.

Separate nutrition

Shelton's book provides many personal definitions about food products which do not grow in our area and not available to all people I have found Shelton's Information very useful for the assortment of food products available at local shops. The drawn up plan of adequate separate nutrition has served me and my followers for about ten years. It is compact, short, easy to read. Fat people get- thinner, thin people gain weight. Hypertension, gastrointestinal diseases, headaches disappear, emotional states change.

Sweet melon and dairy products are incompatible to anything.

To understand how this plan works, let's simplify the process of nutrition. Imagine, that we have eaten 100g of meat. It contains about 20% of protein, it means, that for digestion of meat the stomach will produce 20 equivalent units of acid secretion. The acid necessary for breaking up proteins is marked with H+ character (hydrogen cation), alkali necessary for breaking up of carbohydrate is marked with OH-character (hydroxyl anion). Let us add 100g of tomatoes or tomato juice to meat. This product will bring 5-12% of acid along with it. Therefore, the rate of acid secretion of gastric glands could be lower for 5-12 units in comparison with the case when only meat was eaten. The total consumption of acid secreted in the second case is 15 units instead of 20.

And now let's add to the 100g of meat, 100g of bread (usual combination at our table). The 100g of bread can contain from 25 to 60% of carbohydrate. The gastrointestinal canal will produce 60 units of alkaline secretion for 100g of bread. The process of secreting of alkaline ferments begins right in the mouth, from saliva glands, and continues in the duodenum. Alkaline reagents received with bread, for sure will meet acid secretion which has been produced at the reaction to meat. The process of digestion will be sharply reduced due to neutralization of acids by alkali. For neutralization of 60 units of alkaline secretion 60 units of equivalent acid secretion will be used. This work of fermentation done by the organs of our gastrointestinal canal, is useless. The total consumption of acid secretion in the third case, when meat i.e. Four times more than in the first case and 6 times more than in the second case.

According to our traditional menu 300g of mashed potato or boiled rice will be added to 100g of meat and at the end of the lunch o roll, or a cake with tea will follow and for the first" course soup with potato will be served. After simple calculations it becomes clear that consumption of 100g of meat exceeds the estimated 20 units 20-25 times. This is the very situation of wasting of gastrointestinal biochemical energy. Not everyone can cope with such overloading. The human organism has a surprisingly high capacity of durability, but many of us give up.

Diabetes has become a younger disease. Rich meals and the consumption of incompatible dairy products destroys an adult's pancreas early in life. If a patient, who suffers from diabetes is not transformed to insulin dope yet, than the transformation to separate nutrition will immediately relieve conditions of pancreas. A sharp decrease of the demands of the pancreas will exclude the cause of diabetes when the pancreas of a sick person can handle such loads, diabetes retreats. This happens in most cases when patients deliberately arrange their nutrition and makes the work of glands easier for food digestion. Official medical statistic in Russia foretell dramatic growth of diabetic cases by the year 2000. Offering nothing for elimination of this disease, therapy finds a way to substitute the work of the pancreas by injecting into blood its main hormone - insulin, and by doing so makes its work needless. Step by step the required insulin dosage grows. How to deal with the cause of diabetes is still in the behavior of the patient.

Using adequate separate nutrition we make the work of glands easier, exclude losses of digestive secretion. While making meals we have to combine products of the first and second groups according to the formula. In this case products of the second group help to digest products of the first group. A combination of products of the second and third groups also creates an optimal option for nutrition. By using such nutrition, the stomach is capable of digesting food during 1,5-2 house, because it is homogeneous in its chemical composition. After the digestion of food it is evacuated into the duodenum. A two-hour break should be observed between protein and carbohydrate food. At separate nutrition great demand for food is felt usually during first months when intestine is relieved and its capabilities require work. Later demand for food decreases sharply because assimilation improves dramatically.

Honey belongs to the third group. It is a fine sugar collection. Sugar consumed by most of the people is a bad equivalent of honey. Before it could be absorbed by blood saccharose it has to undergo several biochemical transformations. Not every person's intestine is ready to carry out these transformations. Moreover, honey composites connect calcium ions which are necessary for daily metabolism. Unfortunately, our common practice does not take into consideration that man's functional capability and peristaltis of the intestine loosens with age. If calcium does not come from food into blood, the structure of bones becomes fragile and fractures become more frequent. When traumatologists knit bones, dozens of tonnes of gypsum, are wasted for plaster and man is out of work for many months. This could have easily been avoided. Daily consumption of a spoonful of honey provides optimal concentration of ions in blood in 20 minutes, this concentration stays for 24 hours.

Dr. Jarvis wonderfully described such properties of honey in his book "Honey and Other Natural Products". A special place in the table of product-compatibility is given to sweet melon. It is outlined separately because it is compatible to nothing. Melon is a sanitation product which facilitates evacuation of gastrointestinal canal. It has to be eaten alone, i.e. There has to be a break of at least 2 hours between meals. If is also advised that you eat nothing during 2 hours after having melon. Remember the reaction of a child's gastrointestina canal after having melon results in vomiting and diorrhea, Diarrhea is a result of evacuation of foul excrements. Vomiting more often happens to people who suffer from constipation. It is advised to arrange a "sweet melon day" for better digestion.

Now about dairy products. With age the human organism loses its capability to break up main milk composites ("theory of adequate nutrition" by Academician A.L. Ugolev). Even from the early age dairy products often become a factor which ruins metabolism as a whole. Such diseases as development of kidney stones, stomach and intestinal ulcers, colitus, gastritis, diabetes, disbacteriosis, polyarthritis, osteochondroses progress because of the consumption of dairy products. Milk cannot be mixed with anything.

But for baby's feeding we use milk mixtures. Semolina and mixes will surely provoke constipation in the baby's organism. Never use this mechanical, thoughtless mix of incompatible food. Always give milk to a child separately from cereals. This will enable the intestine to restore its peristaltic. A child will assimilate curds with cream or milk, but curds with sugar and followed by tea will provoke constipation. Have a look at people affected by hypertonia. They are main consumers of curds and main buyers of laxatives and frequent visitors of a proctologist.

A baby's natural capability to digest milk becomes invalid very early. Babies spit out milk, refuse to have it. Adding sweets, cereals, etc., to milk we change natural taste of food and deceive the instincts of a child, make the organism to accept and digest it. In due course the organism will find room to store unassimilated components of milk. These areas will become hotbeds of unhealthy symptoms. The symptoms will be treated, illness" ill be cured, but milk will be getting into the organism. The cause of poor metabolism will not be eliminated. It will function. A situation of chronic illness is being created. It is better to begin treatment with complete exclusion of dairy products, opening of bowels, cleaning of joints, etc. Complexion becomes rosy, skin in the ear area, nose is being cleaned, eyes become brighter, swelling and pains in joint disappear, constipation gives up.

I would like to soy a few words about milk, a wonderful product which combines protein and carbohydrate in ideal proportions. It's baby's food, food of a fast-growing organism. It is like cement, without which it is impossible to build a house. But when the house is built, only a lunatic would start bringing cement into it Just because it is a wonderful building material. You will suffocate in the room excessively loaded with cement. Something similar happens to our health, but we continue to drink milk, when our organism does not need such powerful building material as milk. Life suffocates in such a body.

Some words should be said about such an insidious product as broth. It is an albumen solution received from bone or meat boiling. In every elementary textbook on anatomy there is information about me gastrointestinal canal in which if is said that for digestion of broth, an organism spends much more energy (30 times more) than for meat digestion. As a natural product meat contains appropriate composition of protein and ballast substances which create favorable situation for protein's breaking up. Broth as an artificial product does not passes such a quality. It is difficult to understand why broth and not meat is given to a sick person. Is 30-fold energy consumption for digestion useful?

There are paradoxes in the organization of medical nutrition. In medical institutions light dinner is advised to be taken, as a rule, 2 hours before going to bed. Then for what reason does everybody take a nap after rich lunch? What kind of rule is this, which has not a bit of logic?

Let us turn back to the plan of compatibility of products. In this case when they are combined incorrectly, and this is being constantly repeated, digestible secretion does not facilitate full digestion of food. It goes through the small intestine, where a part of nutritious matter is absorbed, and a part of it is accumulated as "scale" on the walls of the intestine and "bricks up" its absorbed and digestible system.

The main part of the undigested food is stored in the folds of large intestine. The large intestine is being filed with undigested food. The food is dehydrated and deposited in the folds of the large intestine where it stays for many years. Such an intestine becomes the source of general intoxication of the organism as the absorbing surface of the intestine of an adult exceeds 300 sq. m. In Kurennoy's "Russian Medical Book" X-ray shots show areas, where different organs absorb nourishment, vitamins, energy from large intestine. What can an organ receive from stretched large intestine full of old excrements stones? Moreover, mucous membrane of such intestine is crippled with laxatives, has Q very weak muscular layer, with poor blood supply. Great efforts are required for blood of such a man to remove toxins.

Normally functioning and properly relieving intestine is like a powerful "root system" of human organism. In what condition the "roots" are, in such a condition the whole body is. Large intestine is a place of final utilization of food. Cellulose, ballast of cereals, bran in bread, skin of fruit and vegetables reach the large intestine practically without any changes. A greater part of cellulose is undergoing hydrolysis, at the same time it ensures peristaltic in the upper part of the intestine and in large intestine. This is the "fuel" of our internal stove, which gives thermal energy to all neighboring organs of abdominal cavity. In a clean large intestine of a normally nourished person the temperature is 1-3 degrees higher than in the body. The stomach is located in the horizontal part of intestine like on a warm stove. Liver, pancreas urogenital and other organs are tightly pressured on to the intestine. It ensures an optimal thermal regimen for the function of internal organs. The large intestine full of excrement stones has, as a rule, a foreign microflora. Nourishment of such a man is usually that of a restricted diet with Sack of cellulose. There is no "fuel" the temperature of the large intestine, full of excrement stones, is lower than usual. Internal organs do not have optimal thermal regimen and thus malfunction.

The long term violation of nutrition laws, according to the words of a Mongol scientist Shagsha, breaks up the "formula of life" which comes from capability of our large intestine to feed us, to ensure immunity and not to allow food intoxication. In the case of storing too much excrement its size increases greatly. The abdominal cavity becomes a storage of a great rigid sack full of excrement stones. The large intestine removes the internal organs from their normal places occupying new spaces. It presses the diaphragm, the main muscle of breathing, and excludes it from the process of breathing. The volume of the lungs is shrunk sharply. Excrement stones replace the liver and occupy man's uro-genital system which is located between rectum and coccyx.

The useful volume for the small intestine's placement will diminish greatly, its mobility will decrease. The lower part of the rectum will suffer most of all: veins will be jammed. They will swell in a hemorrhoid area as bloody piles. And this is real hemorrhoids. Numerous affections of organs happen due to permanently contaminated large intestine.

Any kind of prescribed treatment would be just a closed circle for combatting symptoms and the consequences of internal contamination, but the cause is disguised in breaching "formula of life", which is ingrained in large intestine.

In order to get rid of the initial cause of numerous diseases everything that has been stored during many years like in a dump, should be evacuated out of the organism. Alternative medicine has great experience in this area.

In old days when the theory of calorie content of nutrition was not known, people used knowledge of prehistoric doctor Galen for their health improvement. According to his theory, any food that passes through the intestine should become part of me bloodstream. If somebody had fallen ill, products which were difficult to assimilate protein - were excluded from his menu. Not to allow intoxication of the blood, the intestine was thoroughly washed with the help of enemas. Various essays of ancient scientists prove the significance of keeping intestine clean, as an obligatory condition of maintaining one's health. The Russian church extended us an apocrypha from the 10th century of how to be healthy. Addressing sick people, the doctor from the sect of assay-therapists of the 1st century B.C. says, "Powers of man, you have forgotten whose children you are. Your mother is the earth. And everybody, who lives on the earth, has to follow the laws of nature. Health is a natural condition of man. Illness is nature's answer to the unwise behavior of man. To follow the healthy way ask mother-earth for three helpmates: angel of water, angel of air and angel of night.

Angel of water is the first to come to help. Find a big pumpkin with a hollow stem of a size of a man, clean it from inside, rill it with water taken from the river warmed by the sun. Hang the pumpkin on the tree and insert the stem into your rectum. Get down on your knees, bow your head close to the earth. Pray to mother-earth to release you from sins, which you have acquired through gluttony; When the water after having washed your intestine goes out of you, you will see and smell and touch the repulsive stones you've been carrying, in you. How can you keep your body healthy and your mind clear? And continue to do so for the whole week running, abstain from rich food. Only then you will realize happiness of living in a purified body. And make one possible, reasonable conclusion: "man washed from the outside resembles a tomb filled with stinking stones and decorated with expensive garments".

Descriptions of hardening in water, in the sun, and air treatment are also given in the apocrypha. The amount of food is minimal. Milk is allowed only for one month - December.

Making myself familiar with apocrypha - a sermon about healthy way of life from the 1st century B.C. - assured me, that for health rehabilitation we need to fulfill the following procedures:

The first step - Irrigation of the intestine

Take two liters of cooled magnetized water, add one table spoonful of magnetized lemon juice and pour it into the mug of Esmarch. Stand on your knees and elbows. Breathe with your mouth, your belly relaxed. The best time for the treatment is from 5 a.m. till 7 a.m. But for your convenience it can be done before going to bed. During the first week the procedure should be done daily, during the second week - every other day, during the week - every second day, during the fourth week -every third day, and during the fifth week - once a week.

This treatment will help you to get rid of hemorrhoids. While treating the intestine you have simultaneously to begin the combination of foodstuffs in a correct way.

Frequent usage of medicines, yeast dough and milk cause strong of gastrointestinal canal by foreign micro organisms - monilia, yeast, staphylococci. These parasites are infiltrated into the mucous membrane of gastrointestinal canal and fed with our blood. As a result they excrete products of vital functions, very often toxic and so radially affecting the processes of life circle, that when a doctor discovers disbacterioses, as a side disease, he hardly differentiates symptoms of the main disease from the symptoms caused by invariably terrible, absolutely unpredictable activity of parasites in gastrointestinal canal. Garlic gas is to be given to combat disbacterioses.

The second step - War on disbacterioses

In the morning eat a clove of garlic (without bread) on an empty stomach one hour before breakfast, and one more at night two hours after supper during one or two weeks. The termination of stomach distension after taking food will be the sign of healing. Processes of fermentation will not disturb a man anymore. Treatment with garlic in the most neglected cases can cause burning of stomach and the gullet. Everything is correct. Killing the parasites garlic juice is absorbed by open small wounds, which the parasites have inhabited. Enhanced heart beating is sometimes observed. Garlic is the only product containing dissolved germanium. This matter strengthens the "spring" system of all our valves. Removing parasites from the gastrointestinal canal, we have to remember once again, that this canal is awash with a biochemical solution turning food into those chemical forms, which are capable to become a part of our blood, of those forms, which have to be evacuated from the organism. For this biochemical processing it is necessary to create absolutely definite biochemical potential, the so-called PH-index of medium. In nature apple vinegar is used for maintenance of PH-index. Its favorable properties, its maintenance of optional regimen of metabolism can be found in Dr. Jarvis's work "honey and other Natural Products". Apple vinegar would relieve a lot of people from pain in the stomach, constipation, hemorrhoids, gastritis, pain in joints, and from useless taking of different medicines like baralginum, amidopirinum, analginum, etc.

Many people sought the key for optimal creation of alkaline-acid potential. In Karavaev's works and the works of his followers, recipes of pounded egg shell and chitin of crayfish and crabs are described. I think that it is a symptomatic approach to the matter. This is an artificial alkalinization of medium, when the consequences is lifted - surplus of acid secreted by organism is neutralized.

Consumption of apple vinegar, as suggested by Dr. Jarvis, is a fine factor of natural PH medium maintenance of digestion canal in optimal limits.

Putting gastrointestinal canal in order you have to bear in mind that the unique fermentable hormone-secretional organ and its mucous membrane is the point of contact of your organism with a medium, through which the outer medium elements are prepared to serve our organism. Then absorption functions begin working. Nature has distributed everything wisely, effectively and meticulously the absorption surface of man's intestine is 300 square meters. This is a powerful "electric pump" with unique osmotic, selective and antiseptic systems. How much effort man has to apply to put himself out of order by reaching 20 - 30 years old!

It is good to use a magnetized oats infusion for rehabilitation of the absorption ability of mucous membrane of gastrointestinal canal. You can make oats infusions according to the following recipe: wash oats, dry and grind evenly. Put two table spoonful of grinned oats into a thermos and add 0.5 liters of magnetized boiled water. Keep it for 3-4 hours. Such magnetized infusion is good for health improvement of recently confined women who have lost too much blood and for rehabilitation of patients after surgical operation (but never broth which is 30 times harder to digest than meat). Magnetized oats infusion is advised for baby feeding if a mother lacks milk, and also for people who are allergic to medicine. Magnetized oats infusions facilitate rehabilitation of glandular surface of intestine.

The third step - Treatment of joints

Put five grams of bay leaf into 300 ml of magnetized water and boil it for five minutes and after that draw it for 3-4 hours in a thermos. Sip the magnetized infusion during 12 hours (it is not advisable to drink it at once as bleeding can be provoked). Treatment has to be repeated for three days running. In a week's time the treatment can be repeated.

Treatment of joints has to be carried out after a thorough treatment of intestine. Otherwise excrement stones in the intestine would be dissolved earlier than deposits in joints and provoke itching and nettle-rash symptoms. 30g of bay-leaf are required for the course of treatment. Four courses of treatment should be done during the first year. Then the treatment should be carried out once a quarter and then once a year. This will help you to eliminate salt deposits in joints, pains caused by changes of weather and joints weariness. You may hear the one who has made diagnosis for you "osteohondroses" or "infectious non-specific polyarthritis" taking back his words, with the magical "mistake in diagnoses".

The fourth step - Liver treatment

Treatment of liver has to be done regularly, because liver treats blood from the remnants of dead red blood corpuscles (120 days). In that case, when the condition of wonderful cells, blood vessels' membranes between gall-ducts and capillaries in liver conforms to natural parameters, dead red blood corpuscles are filtered off and pass with bile into the duodenum or gall-bladder and later on they are evacuated through intestinal canal.

Part of the dead red blood corpuscles remains in the blood and another part deposits like warts on the walls of gall-ducts. Filtration capability of liver diminishes greatly, the content of dead red blood corpuscles increases. Concentration of bile deposits in the gall-bladder is much higher than in gall-ducts. Here stones are also crystallized from dead red blood corpuscles. They can get into the bladder through gall-ducts with bile, too. Part of gall-ducts is obstructed by brownish-yellow wax-like corpuscles of cholesterol. Treatment of the liver has to be done regularly, observing the following rules:

1. The intestine has to be cleaned, not constipated and without excrement stones, so that erupted waste from liver black, stale bile, cholesterol clogs and stones of dead red blood corpuscles) will be evacuated without delay through the rectum, and cannot become an object of secondary intoxication from the intestine.
2. It is not advisable to substitute lemon and olive oil.
3. Before treatment of a liver stick to vegetarian diet.
4. You should strictly observe biologically recommended hour for treatment (from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.).
5. To begin the treatment be sure of the powerful, creative, invigorous capabilities of your body. Full awareness and no fear. Neither in the beginning of the treatment, nor during discharge of waste, when you discover numerous green peels of dead red blood corpuscles, softened large stones (as large as a walnut), cholesterol clogs. Treatment of liver is natural and necessary as general cleaning of a dwelling.

Treatment of the liver

For this treatment 300g of magnetized olive oil and 300g of magnetized lemon juice are used.

Give an enema on the first day and drink any quantity of fresh magnetized apple juice. Repeat the same procedure on the second day and on the third day, but drink fresh magnetized apple juice until 7 p.m. (at this time, according to our daily biorhythm, the liver is relaxed). Then you should lie in bed, put hot-water bottle in the area of liver and drink every 15 minutes magnetized oil along with magnetized juice in the following order: 3 table spoonful of magnetized olive oil to be followed by 3 table spoonful of magnetized lemon juice.

Evacuation of waste happens in three stages during the day. The first discharge of stones happens in 4-5 hours, the second one in 7-8 hours, the third one in 9-10 hours from the beginning of treatment. In one and a half to 2 hours after the commencement of treatment, it is possible to give an enema, have magnetized juice, light cereals for breakfast, and in 12 hours give another enema. Stick to vegetarian diet during the week. The intestine will still discharge waste, excrements will be of light color.

During the first year such treatment can be carried out quarterly, then once a year, Such preventive measures are necessary for provision for optimal conditions for the work of our main treatment laboratory.

The fifth step - Treatment of the kidney

It's better to carry out this treatment in summer in watermelon season. You have to get plenty of watermelons and brown bread. It is going to be your diet for a week. If there are stones in your kidney and urinary bladder then the best times for their discharge is the hour of kidney biorhythm 2 or 3 a.m. At this time you have to take a warm bath and to combine it with a watermelon meal. Treatment can be repeated in two or three weeks, until you get the results.

The sixth step - Treatment of blood lymph

The following doctor Wesker's mix can be advised: 900 grams of magnetized grapefruit juice, 900 grams of magnetized orange juice, 200 grams of magnetized lemon juice, 200 grams of magnetized melted water prepared In refrigerator in the morning dissolve a table spoonful of Glauber salt in 100 grams of melted water.

After this it is good to go to bathroom or to take a warm shower. Perspiration will be superb. Every 30 minutes drink 100 grams of magnetized juice mix. Repeat this treatment for three days.

The seventh step - Treatment of blood vessels

Prepare the following mixture one glass of oil seeds, two table spoons of grinded valerian root, two glasses of natural honey. Put this mix into a thermos, pour two liters of magnetized water and let it draw it for 24 hours. Then take one tablespoon of it 30 minutes before meals.

You have to follow these steps in strict sequence. A lot of people whatever pains they have, believe that a Turkish bath is the solution. But treatment in a steam bath should begun after treatment of the intestine. The cause of heat stroke is massive entry of waste through the intestinal barrier during heating of the body.

Conclusion

Implementing of the above actions of treatment of the body, boldly involve yourself in physical training : jogging, static gymnastics, hardening with cold and hot water (steam bath and shower). Do not be afraid of consequences. Disturbances diminish greatly. Physical training of our treated body will not be kind of discharging of waste but it will turn into method of strengthening of all systems in our organism into optimal regimen, under conditions of minor risk. Wonderful changes in human organism after treatment are illustrated by irido-diagnostics deficiencies of iris disappear.

Everyone can now obtain his lost intuition, will become more adept to the changes of environment, which are not , I am sorry to say, happening for the better. It is not possible to create an ideal microclimate. There is only one way to survive to accommodate your body to the Laws of Nature.

Let's remember the words of my countryman V.I, Vernadsky again. "Not a single form of life can exist in its own created wastes " We have to organize our life in such a way, that after consumption of food there will be the smallest possible quantity of waste left in our body. Knowledge obliges us, first of all, to put our organism in order like a secret corner of Nature.

Our Magnetic Funnel

The Magnetic Funnel is used for magnetising liquids. Water and other solutions passed through the Magnetic Funnel, acquire a finer and more homogeneous structure that significantly enhances the fluidity and dissolving ability as well as biological activity. Magnetic water has been successful in preventing and curing kidney diseases, kidney and gall stones in particular.

Indications

Research has confirmed the curative properties of magnetic water in dealing with many types of diseases and ailments in humans:

* consuming 250 ml. of magnetically treated water daily normalises disorders of the cardio-vascular, digestive, nervous and urinary systems
* continuous use of magnetic water decreases cholesterol content in blood, stimulates brain activity, improves digestion, increase appetite and reduces excess acidity and normalizes the function of bile
* it helps to induce proper movement of bowels and expels poisons and unwanted salts from the body
* it also helps in dissolving calcium deposits in joints, thus relieving the pain of arthritis.

Note

The use of magnetically treated water and drinks is a must in treating and preventing any kind of disease. It is suggested that the Magnetic Funnel be used preventing any kind of ailment. It is suggested that the Magnetic Funnel be used in conjunction with all of the other magnetic treatment devises.

The normal ratio is 60% intracellular, 40% extracellular.

Movement of water in the body between cells (extracellular fluid) is caused by osmosis.

Why Is the Quality of Water We Put In Our Body Essential to Health and Aging?

The mystery of understanding disease and aging begins with knowing what our body needs throughout its lifetime to maintain health and vitality. Premature, unnatural aging can result from loss of water volume and the body being continuously exposed to contaminated water. Another major factor is the body's inability to adequately assimilate essential minerals and nutrients.

A major problem in maintaining health during aging is a result of years of medications that have accumulated in the tissues. Even when a disease is treated successfully with drugs, the cells still retain the germs in a latent state along with the toxins of the medications that had been used to destroy them. As the body ages and the immune system declines, this makes it possible for disease to re-emerge.

Water, which makes up over 70% of our body composition, is the most influential and vital component that provides the body with the ability to maintain health and prevent its deterioration. This can only happen if the quality, content, and structure of the water meets the body's requirements. For water to be most effective in our body, it is necessary for it to contain minerals that haven been completely assimilated in order to nourish and protect the cells. It should have a slightly higher alkaline pH, which is necessary to assure that the body fluids do not become and remain acidic, resulting in illness and more rapid aging.

However, because of contamination in our environment such as toxic wastes and chemical additives, food and water have been depleted of critical minerals necessary for metabolism. As a result, the body's chemistry becomes un-balanced, and destructive substances known as free radicals form. These free radicals destroy cells and cause the body in general to deteriorate.

Magnetic water & Health

Vibrational Medicine for the 21st Century (ã 2000). Ronald Lynch, M.D. Integrative Natural Solutions

Excerpts from Gerber, Richard (1988). Vibrational Medicine, Santa Fe, NM: Bear & Co.

There are many magnet researchers who advocate drinking "magnetised water" for a variety of health reasons. As we have mentioned earlier, magnetised water has been shown by Dr. Grad and others to accelerate the germination and growth of plants...

According to UNESCO, almost every country suffers from a deficit of high quality drinking spring water. Investigations show the connection between increasing levels of stones in kidneys and the growing levels of harmful elements in drinking water.

This is the consumption of magnetic water for drinking and cooking. In order to magnetize water, just pour it through our magnetic funnel.

In his book, Magnetotherapy, Dr. R. S. Bansal, director of the Indian Institute of Magnetotherapy in New Delhi, India, reports that drinking magnetised water can produce a wide variety of health benefits, including boosting energy levels, aiding digestion, improving normal bowel function, helping to regulate abnormal menstrual cycles, increasing urinary flow while also dissolving kidney stones, and even reducing fevers... Dr. Bansal recommends drinking two ounces of magnetised water before breakfast and after major meals of the day.

One may ask, "Does magnetization of the water do anything to change its basic physical properties?" The answer is yes. The changes are very small but measurable. Magnetised water exhibits a change in the strength with which water molecules are able to bind with one another. Magnet researchers Davis and Rawls found that south-pole magnetic force appeared to make water molecules bind to each other more weakly than normal, thus giving it a lower surface tension than normal.* Surface tension is the membrane-like layer on top of water that water-strider bugs are able to walk upon. It is this same phenomenon of surface tension that is responsible for the ability of plants to suck water up through their roots from the surrounding soil.

While the ability to alter the surface tension of water may not seem like much, a magnet's ability to change the way water molecules interact with each other within the body could theoretically produce major changes in enzyme activity. The shape an enzyme takes (and thus the shape and efficiency of the active enzyme site where it does its catalytic work) is strongly influenced by how the enzyme's protein backbone interacts with surrounding water molecules (a process that can be affected by magnetism). The fact that magnetised water possesses altered binding forces between water molecules and various proteins, salts, and mineral substances appears to endow it with the ability to dissolve buildups of various types of salts and minerals (Davis and Rawls, 1996).

This phenomenon turns out to have industrial as well as biological applications. Magnetised water has been shown to be effective in breaking down and dissolving mineral and salt buildup within pipes and boiler systems. It is used this way in Russia. In a similar vein, Russian and Indian magnetotherapists have reported that magnetic water, ingested by patients with kidney stones and certain types of mineralized gallstones, allowed patients to slowly dissolve and excrete the abnormal buildups of salt and minerals from their gallbladders and urinary tracts. Following this same line of reasoning, some Indian magnetotherapy researchers assert that magnetised water has similar value in helping to remove calcium and even cholesterol deposits from critically clogged arteries in people suffering from arteriosclerosis and other types of vascular disease... A number of Russian magnetotherapy researchers believe that many of the positive effects magnets have upon the body may be related to their ability to magnetize the water content of the human body itself. Keep in mind, we are more than [70] percent water...

There are two unique gem elixirs prepared from magnetic materials. They are lodestone elixir and magnetic elixir. The actions of these vibrational remedies are known primarily through intuitive research methods. Lodestone elixir is said to align our physical body's biomagnetic field with the earth's magnetic field. It may also enhance transmission of information throughout the body in its many forms. It seems to accomplish this in part by enhancing nerve-to-nerve communication throughout the entire nervous system. Lodestone elixir is reported to be a general tonic for the endocrine system and may also be valuable for stimulating tissue regeneration. It is said to balance the acupuncture-meridian system and bring balance to the opposing forces of yin and yang within the body.

Magnetite elixir is said to enhance blood circulation throughout the entire endocrine system. Magnetite elixir may be helpful for people who have had radiation exposure caused by working in the mine rich in radioactive minerals or from general exposure to radiation. It is also believed to enhance meditation, allowing a greater inner focus. Magnetite elixir is said to energize and align all the chakras, meridians, and subtle or spiritual bodies.

*It should be noted that William Philpott, M.D., a leading authority on bio-magnetism, believes that positive-negative polarity, not north and south polarity, is what creates the magnetic reaction.

From Oschman, J.L. Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis. (2001). New Perspectives, Journal of the Center for Frontier Sciences of Temple University, 10(2).

Electric and magnetic fields generated by tissues, organs, and even pathologies are not only useful for diagnostics, but are also part of the body's mechanism for communicating with itself and its environment. Each heartbeat, breath or emotion generates characteristic electromagnetic fields that travel through the extra cellular matrix, or connective tissue in which cells are embedded, to remote cells. The surrounding organized layer of water can serve as a separate communication and energy channel and may also have an impedance-matching role.

Through the Hall effect, it has been learned that the per neural system is sensitive to magnetic fields and that semi conduction is occurring. This discovery confirmed Saint-Giorgio's suggestion of semi-conduction in the living matrix and gave a basis for the use diamagnetic fields in healing. Each molecule, cell, tissue and organ has a resonant frequency that coordinates its activities. Living matter is highly sensitive to the information conveyed by these signals. These signals may integrate processes such as growth, defense, injury repair and the function of the organism as a whole.

When water with a weak, electro-magnetic signal enters the nerve cells, the connectors, called synapses, cannot generate a strong impulse from one cell to another. Eventually, the brain cells are affected from lack of adequate neuro-stimulation because the synapses can't keep nervous information flowing. Magnetised water is like a "magnetic bridge", creating a pathway for water to enter nerve cells more readily, thereby, making the minerals and nutrients required for intercellular nerve connections more available.

THE EFFECTS OF MAGNETISED WATER ON CELLULAR BIOLOGY

Water has long been known to be affected by magnetism. Magnetization can significantly reduce the surface tension of water and increase the pH, making it more alkaline. Water molecules are known to have a small interaction with magnetism, creating chains of organized molecules. This can influence the biochemistry of the water in the body. The intricate biological requirements needed to maintain electrochemical balance have been reported in books and journals about human physiology. The rationale we have used to discuss our findings is, therefore, based on scientific principles and reports.

Much of what has been learned about naturally magnetised water relates to its effect on the environment of cells in our body. The following pages contain information on cellular biology which presents support on why naturally magnetised water works effectively in our body and helps control the body 's deterioration, which can result in chronic, aging disorders.

The cells are constantly exposed to toxicity, both from the external environment and the body's internal environment. One major result is oxidation, a cell's loss of electrons, creating free radicals which destroy cells. Even when the cause of a disease has been established, treated and under control, the cells still remain codified from the medications used to destroy the pathogens. There is much support to suggest that magnetised water can help provide lost electrons to cells through reduction and control the side effects caused by medications by flushing toxins out of the cells.

Preliminary studies have suggested that the naturally magnetised water may increase the percent of intra-cellular hydration, which is a major factor in controlling the aging process and aging-related diseases. We are currently beginning studies to gather more evidence on the effect of this water on increasing the intra/extra cellular fluid ratio.

Effect of Environment on Natural Molecular Structure of Water, from Collins, J.C. The Matrix of Life. East Greenbush, NY: Molecular Presentations, 1991, and Water: The Vital Force of Life. Kinder brook, NY: Molecular Presentations, 2000.

The molecular parts which compose the cells of our bodies are much the same as those that composed the earliest forms of life on earth. If we wish to comprehend the composition of life and its molecular roots, and determine how these molecules move and flow in a spontaneous and miraculous fashion to sustain and perpetuate themselves, then, like nature, we must begin with water. Genetics defines which molecules are produced; water defines how they move and associate with each other.

Water holds some of the most basic and, therefore, significant secrets of life. This is not a new idea. All ancient civilizations described this in their attempt to explain the structure of life. Even then as today, many believe that water within the cell has a "vital force". Since cells are the fundamental units of life, then they are responsible for all life processes and are the force that permeates all nature. If that force is available in any one substance, then it must be in water.

One of the first things we learn about the complex molecules of living cells is the way in which their atoms are bonded together. Modern scientific technology has revealed the basis of molecular biology in the cell, its DNA and how critical water is to its order. If DNA is dehydrated, like other bonding components of the cell, it loses its orderly, repeating structures and takes on more random shapes and forms. In other words, DNA loose its normal, functional properties.

It is now clear that that all information needed to direct molecules into their functional shapes is contained in the molecules themselves in association with each other and the surrounding water medium. DNA, operating in harmony with water, that determines shapes that are adopted as they are produced and move within the cell. It appears that molecules themselves are the "code" and water the medium where the code is expressed.

As long as environment and temperature are maintained within the cell, and there is adequate magnetization to keep cell biology functioning normally, then cellular reproduction, along with normal DNA coding, will continue. If, however, the content and effectiveness of the water inside and outside the cell contain destructive toxins, the degradation and deterioration of cells will increase quickly, resulting in rapid aging and disease.

What is a living cell? It appears as one, large molecule, tied together by a matrix of water molecules. Like the atoms that compose them, they are tied together by ionic bonds, consisting of positive and negative charges on their outer surfaces. What creates these bonds?

If salts like sodium chloride are added to water, the sodium and chloride ions (Na+ and Cal-) immediately become surrounded by water molecules to dissipate their charges. In doing so, adjacent water molecules take on the charges to form H2ONa+. This possesses the unique property of being able to transfer the small positively- charged nucleus of one of its hydrogen atoms to a neighboring water molecule. Then the neighboring molecule becomes positively charged as H3O+, due to the extra hydrogen proton bonded to its oxygen atom. This charged molecule transfers one of its protons to another neighbor, cascading in a linear fashion to water molecules surrounding negatively-charged Cal- ions. Thus, the stability of a particular molecule is the electromagnetic bond of energies between atoms.

Relationship of Magnetism to Cell Stability

The electrons circling around atoms resist attempts to disturb their usual orbits, so they can create their own magnetic field. As a result, the atoms behave like little magnetic needles, all which point in a direction opposite to the field which is being applied. When like poles face each other, there is a strong resistance.

Magnetism takes place when electrons orbit around their atoms. Electrons have a property called spin, which makes them act like miniature magnets with two opposite poles. If neighboring electrons are made to spin so their poles are aligned in the same direction, it becomes magnetic. Iron is very easy to magnetize because it has lots of surplus electrons that will line up easily. But some nonmetallic substances also have enough spare electrons to do this without much difficulty.

Magnetism and Ionization

Magnetism is an imaginary field associated with certain types of materials that are said to be magnetic. In the case of common magnetic materials and electromagnetism, the magnetism is related to moving the electrons. In the case of nuclei, the magnetism is related to the much weaker magnetic properties of the spinning, electrically passive nucleus. The magnetic field of paired electrons cancel; therefore, atoms with closed electron shells exhibit little magnetism, whereas those with unpaired electrons produce strong magnetic domains.

Think of unstable elements moving around the body, looking for an electron to make itself stable. It will steal an electron from wherever it can, at the expense of a stable cell , which needs paired electrons to remain stable. When a cell loses an electron from a pair, it will lose energy and die, sacrificing itself to the "thief". This is how bacteria and cancer strives. This is believed to be the activity creating free radicals, that is, strong, unstable magnetic activity as a result of cell with electron imbalance aggressively seeking another electron, thereby creating imbalance in another cell.

Magnetism affects the electron stability of cells. Electrons of a cell are established in pairs. If one electron is lost, the cell will lose energy and die. When that electron is taken by oxygen which becomes unpaired, free radicals form and destroy cells.

Ionization - Presence of Ferromagnetic Minerals (Iron, Cobalt, Nickel and Gadolinium) which Bond With Ions in Elements of Cells to Establish Stability.

Magnetism: All matter is magnetic to some degree. An iron magnetic will pick up a steel paper clip but not a copper penny. Steel is magnetic and copper is nonmagnetic. Actually, copper is also magnetic, but to a very small degree. Even subatomic particles, such as protons have magnetic properties.

Paramagnetism: Materials include platinum, oxygen, tungsten, manganese and aluminum. They are weakly influenced by the magnetic field and do not have measurable magnetic properties of their own.

Diamagnetism: Materials include mercury, silver, copper, carbon and hydrogen, and have negative influences and are actually repelled by magnetic.

Ferromagnetism: Materials which are easily magnetised such as iron, cobalt, nickel and gadolinium. These materials make the strongest magnets and are used singly and in combination with the many MRI magnets.

ENERGY AND CELL METABOLISM

Life is dynamic and energy is dynamic. The conversion of energy is essential to all life forms. All living things assimilate energy and use it to grow. This process is called metabolism. Plants, algae and some bacteria use sunlight to create carbon-carbon covalent bonds from CO2 and H2O by the process of photosynthesis. Metabolic energy from carbon compounds is transferred from one molecule to another through special energy-storing phosphate bonds. Nearly all organisms obtain energy by metabolizing these bonds.

Metabolism is organized by enzymes, which are catalysts that permit formation of temporary associations with the molecules that are reacting. Cells employ these proteins as catalysts to lower activation energies. By bringing two substances together in correct orientation or by stressing particular chemical bonds of a substance, an enzyme lowers the activation energy required for new bonds to form. This creates a much faster reaction than otherwise would take place. Because the enzyme itself is not changed, it can continue to be used.

There are thousands of different enzymes, each catalyzing a different chemical reaction. The enzymes in a cell, by facilitating particular chemical reactions, determine the course of metabolism in that cell.

Factors Affecting Enzyme Activity

Temperature. The shape of a protein is determined by hydrogen bonds and are disrupted by slight changes in temperature.

pH. Enzymes are sensitive to hydrogen ion concentration. The more H ions available in the solution, the fewer negative charges and the more positive charges. Most enzymes have a pH optimum, between 6 and 8, just as they do a temperature optimum. This is critical to metabolism since some proteins can function in very acidic environments, others cannot.

The activity of an enzyme is not only sensitive to temperature and pH, but also to specific chemicals that bind to the enzyme and cause changes in its shape. By means of these specific chemicals, a cell is able to regulate which enzymes are active and which are inactive at a particular time. When the binding of the chemical alters the shape of the protein and shuts off enzyme activity, the chemical is called an inhibitor. When the change in an enzyme's shape is necessary for a catalyst to work, the chemical is called an activator.

The activity of enzymes is regulated by changes in enzyme shape, which result when specific, small molecules bind to the enzyme, molecules which are not of that enzyme group.

Many enzymes employ metal ions or organic molecules, called cofactors, to facilitate their activity. Nonprotein organic molecules used for this purpose are called coenzymes.

The level of magnetism in the body will determine stable, ionic exchange in metabolic activity. A weak or disturbed magnetic waveform can inhibit cellular metabolism. Water with a strong and stable magnetic signal can greatly increase metabolism.

Physical Laws Related to Energy:

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but can change from one form to another.

Energy is the result of entropy - the constant increase in disorder in the Universe. Energy spontaneously converts to less organized forms.

Heat is the energy of random molecular motion.

Critical Necessity of Negative/Positive Ion Balance from Osyka, F. And Edmonds, A. The Ion Effect. Greeneville, TN: Alpine Industries, Inc., 1991.

The energy in moving water generates a lot of negative ions. As water breaks up, positive charges remain with the larger drop and the negative charges move freely with a fine spray, forming negative ions. Waterfalls and cascades are surrounded by a beneficial load of negative ions because of the water's activity. Cases of migraine have been reported to substantially subside when a suffering person is close to oceans or waterfalls and "just breathes".

Because of pollution, there are less negative ions in the city than in the country. Negative ions are more active than positive ions and move at greater speed. It seems evident that since humans function largely because of bio-electromagnetism, the nature of air must have some effect on all life forms.

Results of studies have documented that ions have a pronounced effect on all life. Studies on air borne bacteria that are causes of colds, influenza and other respiratory illnesses found that an amazingly small amount of negative ions could kill these bacteria and remove them from the air.

Startling studies on cartooning have resulted on new conclusions about relationship of excess positive ions and overproduction of seratonin in animals, which causes hyperactivity, leading to exhaustion, anxiety and depression. It was found was that an excess of negative ions appeared to have an opposite, calming effect. Negative ions counteract the effect of positive ion overdose, acting like a tranquilizer by reducing amount of seratonin in the mid-brain. Studies on hyperthyroidism report that positive ions throw the thyroid out of balance.

In addition to respiration, ions are absorbed into the body through the skin. Much evidence shows that the nerve endings under the skin serve as receptors for ions and have a direct influence on the body and its organs. It is also believed that the points at which the body absorbs ions are similar to acupuncture points. Therefore, this theory has been the basis for ancient, Eastern medicine, which holds as its critical basis electromagnetic energy as the healing medium.

The major source of ions in the air within a few hundred feet of the surface of the earth is the radio-activity of the ground and the rays of the sun. The ionosphere absorbs much of the sun's harmful radiation and makes life possible. This protective shield is not only charged electrically but is also polarized. The underside that faces earth is positively charged and the top, which faces outer space, is negatively charged. The interaction between these two charges is a key element in the generation of ions of both polarities and in the maintenance of the balance between positive and negative ions.

The moon orbits the earth outside the ionosphere. Like the earth, it is negatively charged. When the moon is full it repels the negative outer face of the ionosphere. Thus, the ionosphere is pushed closer to earth, and the interaction between positively charged and negatively charged ions is such that when the moon is full, or nearly full, the number of positive ions close to the earth's surface increases. This is widely supported scientifically why unusual, erratic behavior increases during a full moon.

Other scientific information explains the effect of ions on human physiology. Recently, scientists have suggested that our red blood cells absorb the air we breathe while the white cells pick up the electrical charge of the air. White cells control the blood clotting mechanism and are normally negatively charged. Because they are all charged negatively, they repel one another and do not readily coagulate or clot unless the body requires it, such as healing an open wound or incision. An excess of positive ions could mean white blood cells lose some of their normal negative charge. As the repelling effect diminishes, white blood cells would be more likely to cling together to form clots, which could lead to thrombosis.

From Dubrov, A.P. Russian Advances in the Study of the Effects of Environmental Factors and Electromagnetic Medicine. (2001). New Perspectives, Journal of the Center for Frontier Sciences of Temple University, 10(2).

It has been found that lack of negative air ions is responsible for quick tiredness, lower labor productivity, indisposition, disturbance of the immune system, and can promote the onset and development of various chronic diseases. The more negative ions the air contains, the healthier it is. The problem of prevention and treatment of numerous diseases, therefore, is the recovery of the ions in the lost electric charge.

From Ackerman, J.M. The Biophysics of the Vascular Autonomic Signal and Healing (2001). New Perspectives, Journal of the Center for Frontier Sciences of Temple University, 10(2).

All organic and inorganic compounds have inherent electromagnetic resonance. Chemical compounds absorb electrical, electromagnetic and magnetic energy by altering their molecular and atomic geometry. As the molecule relaxes, the alterations in geometry return to their normal configuration. The compounds then emit multiple radio frequencies of their own characteristics plus heat of specific infrared frequencies. Growing cells, therefore, radiate more intensively than fully developed cells.

Biological compounds are capable of resonating when they are induced by electromagnetic stimulation. These special compounds are called neurohormones. Among other anatomical sites, they reside in acupuncture points and have the capacity to oscillate when induced by stimulation either by physical contact, such as massage or acupuncture needle, or even at a distance with the use of a laser beam. The information contained in the oscillations passed on by the acupuncture point relay system reaches the thalamus, an information exchange center in the brain and then onto the cerebral cortex and the autonomic nervous system via additional relay systems.

Navach demonstrated that clusters of neurohormones are present at acupuncture points in the ear, face, scalp, body, limbs, digits, periosteum, and deep fascia. It was Navach's contention that the general function of neurohormones is to initiate healing and to guide the process of healing as it evolves. He also found that proliferation of neurohormones can be demonstrated at the site of injury repair, i.e., mature collagen production in an otherwise fully developed vertebrae. The current of injury occurs because of cellular death and destruction of the integrity of inter and intra-cellular substances. Navach also believed that neurohormone compounds (at the cellular level) speed the overall healing process by accelerating the impact of DNA on messenger RNA.

Examples of a Faulty Biochemical Process and Ionic Exchange in Cell Metabolism

Sodium and glucose enter cells. Glucose is required to create cell energy. Sodium is exchanged with potassium (Potassium in and sodium out). When sodium and glucose are not fully metabolized with calcium and remain in cells, this can result in diabetes. When sodium is not fully metabolized with calcium and remains in cells, this can result in hypertension. When hydrogen is not metabolized with calcium and remains in cells, this can result in acidosis.

THE EFFECT OF WATER ON CELLS

The Necessity of Maintaining Adequate Water Volume

Fluid fluctuations affect blood volume and cellular function. This can be life threatening.

When the amount of fluid within various cellular compartments is relatively constant, there is an exchange of solutes and water between compartments to maintain unique compositions. Individuals with more body fat have proportionately less total body water and are more susceptible to fluid imbalances that cause hydration.

Total body water percent decreases with age, resulting in inadequate cellular hydration. Most critical is the decrease in intra-cellular fluid. This is due in part to increase of fat and decreased muscle, and decreased ability to regulate sodium and water balance. With age, kidney functioning becomes less efficient in producing urine, and responses for conserving sodium weaken.

There are two major issues about the water in our body that must be resolved if the body is to remain in a state of harmony and stability. First, the water must be able to prevent toxins and chemical substances from accumulating and creating destructive influences in the cells. Water must bring all minerals and nutrients required for metabolism into the cell, and remove any substances that can damage the cell. Also, the cell wall must be protected from damage and invasion. Second, since water is involved in every function of the body, it must act as a conductor of electrochemical activity, such as neurotransmission, by moving water from one nerve cell to another smoothly and effectively.

When cells are studied under an MRI, water is observed to act very differently from when it is not exposed to a magnetic field. Molecules are re-formed in smaller clusters in a linear arrangement. The molecules are lined up and move in and out of the cells easily. In contrast, when water is photographed after removed from MRI exposure, molecules are randomly ordered and cluster with neighboring water molecules to form large, molecular clusters. (Interestingly, when cancer cells are studied under MRI influence, its water molecules are also organized and calm, in contrast to their aggressive, violent movement without MRI exposure). However, naturally magnetised water remains organized in small clusters, whether or not exposed to a MRI.

The Passage of Water In and Out of Cells

Movement of water occurs because of hydrostatic pressure and osmosis in the capillaries. As water flows from artery to vein, changes in pressure create the movement across the membranes. Any changes in pressure will allow proteins, minerals, and other nutrients being carried by the blood to escape into spaces between vessels and deprive the cells of vital needs to sustain life. (In addition, when the water in the blood is acidic and contaminated with chemicals, it enters the cells and changes their structure, including changes in DNA. This is how disease begins and attacks structures in the body).

Osmosis is the diffusion of water across a membrane that permits the free passage of water but not solutes. Molecules of solutes (sugars, amino acids and ions) dissolved in water are in constant motion. This creates diffusion, the random movement toward zones where the concentration of the molecules is lower. This tends to distribute molecules uniformly. Because of diffusion, both solvent (water) and solute molecules in a cell will move from areas where concentration is greater to an area where their concentration is less.

As water molecules continue to diffuse inward toward the area of lower concentration of unbound water molecules, pressure within the cell increases, which is called hydrostatic pressure. This is the force that must be applied to stop osmotic movement of water across a membrane. When two areas are separated by a membrane, what happens depends on whether or not the molecule can pass freely through the membrane; most solutes in cells cannot do so.

Solutes are water soluble and are kept within the cell. Water molecules, however, can diffuse across the membrane into the cell, thus diluting the high concentration of solutes within the cell so that it matches more closely the lower concentration in the solution outside the cell (extracellular matrix). Eventually, however, the cell will reach an equilibrium, and the osmotic force driving water inward is counterbalanced exactly by the hydrostatic pressure driving water out. As a result the water and solute concentrations will be the same in both compartments.

The nature and proportion of solutes in the body's water will determine its effectiveness in hydrating, as well as detoxifying cells so a homeostatic, internal environment can be maintained to ensure proper cell metabolism. This requires bio-energy. A key component in dispensing bio-energy is the interactive effect of water and bio-magnetism. This interactive, bio-energy force is seen in the effectiveness of osmosis and the osmolarity of the water in the extracellular matrix, as well as in the cells. Through the influence of the body's bio-magnetism greater penetration of ions through the cell membrane, transported by water, will increase the health and stability of cells.

Osmosis is created by a magnetic force in our body, which keeps the movement in balance. Osmotic activity occurs as a result of osmolarity, the total concentration of all solute particles in a solution. The extent to which water's concentration is decreased by solutes depends on the number, not the type of solute particles in a solution, because one molecule or one ion of solute displaces one water molecule. Thus, a solution's osmolarity is a count of the number of solute particles (including ions) dissolved in one liter of water and is seen in the solution's ability to cause osmosis. The measurement used to describe the solute concentration of body fluids such as water is the milliosmol. The normal osmolality of body fluids should average around 270 milliosmoles.

Osmolarity controls distribution and movement of water between body compartments. The osmolality of intracellular and extracellular fluid tends to equalize and, therefore, provides a measure of body fluid concentration and the body's hydration status. Osmolarity measures the effective change in pressure for water, assuming that all the solutes are impenetrable. When a solute is added to water, the volume is expanded and includes the original liter of water plus the volume occupied by the solute particles. In measuring osmolarity, the volume of water is, therefore, reduced by an amount equal to the volume of added solute.

When equal volumes of solutions of different osmolarity are separated by a membrane that is permeable to all molecules in the system, net diffusion (tendency of the molecules or ions to scatter evenly) of both solute and water occurs, each moving down its own concentration gradient. A solution that changes the tone or shape of a cell by alternating its internal water volume is described by its osmotic activity, or tonicity. Tonicity is the tendency of a solution to resist expansion of intracellular fluid volume.

Solutions with concentrations of nonpenetrating solutes equal to those found in cells are isotonic, or have the same tonicity. An isotonic solution has the same osmolality as the intracellular fluid (ICF) or the extracellular fluid (ECF). This is required to maintain normal cell metabolism. An example of an isotonic solution is 5% dextrose in water and normal saline solution of 0.9% NaCl (Ganong, 1993). This solution is isotonic because there is no net movement of the active particles in the solution into cells and the particles are not metabolized. Extracellular fluids and most intravenous solutions are isotonic.

Solutions that contain fewer nonpenetrating solutes are called hypotonic. Cells placed in hypotonic solutions plump up rapidly as water rushes into them. Distilled water represents the most extreme example of hypotonicity. Because it contains no solutes, distilled water is pulled water into the cells without proper resistance or osmotic pressure and causes them to swell or burst (Marieb, 1995).

A hypertonic solution has a concentration greater than 285 to 294 milliosmoles. An example is a 3% saline solution. Water is pulled out of the cells so that the cells shrink. Tonicity is critical to cell metabolism when correcting water and solute imbalances by administering different types of replacement solutions, such as those used in IV therapy solutions (McCance & Huether, 1994).

A balanced osmolarity can be the difference between life and death of an organism. An example is sea water, overbalanced with sodium ions; or distilled water, which can be deadly if infused because it has no osmolarity. If distilled water is present on both sides of a permeable membrane, no net osmosis occurs, even though water molecules continue to move in both directions through the membrane. If, however, the solute concentration on both sides of the membrane differs, water concentration differs as well, because as the solute concentration increases, water concentration decreases.

There is a consideration when determining osmotic activity. In the case of living plant cells, as water diffuses into the cell, the point is reached where the hydrostatic pressure (the back pressure exerted by water against the membrane) within the cell is equal to its osmotic pressure (tendency to resist further net water entry. Generally, the higher the amount of nonpenetrable solutes within the cell, the higher the osmotic pressure and the greater the hydrostatic pressure that must be present to resist further net water entry. Osmotic pressure is also necessary to control water loss.

However, these pressure changes do not occur in living animal cells, which lack rigid walls and are surrounded only by flexible plasma membranes. Osmotic imbalances cause animal cells to swell or shrink, due to net water gain or loss) until the solute concentration on both sides of the plasma membrane is the same or the membrane is stretched to its limit. Many molecules, particular intercellular proteins and selected ions, are prevented from diffusing through the plasma membrane. Any changes in their concentration produce changes in water concentration on the two sides of the membrane and result in net loss or gain of water by the cell.

THE EXTRA CELLULAR MATRIX AND WATER

The human body can only maintain homeostasis if the extra cellular fluid (ECF) volume is closely regulated to maintain blood pressure and salt balance. Its osmolarity must be regulated to prevent swelling or shrinking of the cells. The maintenance of water balance is important in regulating ECF osmolarity. In order to maintain stability, the ECF must be able to respond quickly to changes in volume and osmolarity. (Sherwood).

In humans, kidneys are able to spare water by eliminating wastes in a concentrated urine. This urinary concentration relies on water reabsorption driven by an osmotic gradient formed along the collecting ducts, consisting of NaCl and urea at similar osmolarities. Survival of renal cells are induced by NaCl, but not urea, since urea is a membrane permeant solute. With excess saline in the tissues, there is a decrease in water excretion in order to bring the salt concentration back to normal. This is to allow for cell concentration to remain constant and prevent shrinking by fluid moving out of the cells in order to reach an equilibrium within the cells.

Understanding how a cell maintains its integrity requires understanding the role of the connective tissues in the body to the health and longevity of its internal environment. The environment of a cell is directly affected by the environment outside of the cell. Cells have a reciprocal relationship with their environment. The environment surrounding a cell consists of a structured, basic substance, which is called the extracellular matrix (ECM). This enormous space of connective tissues has a significant effect on determining genetic outcomes of the cell. Water is its primary regulation system. The ion composition of the elements in the extra cellular space are activated in water.

The ECM is the largest system in the body. It is virtually responsible for all vital functions that take place within the body. All cells depend on an intact ECM for their existence. It regulates the cell's environment and is part of every aspect of the immune system because the lymphatic system is connected with it. It takes care of cell nutrition through internal circulation of water, and the removal of wastes. Disease originates in dysfunctions in this space, as it affects organs and other systems throughout the body.

More than having a supporting and space-filling function, the ECM provides regeneration for specific organ functions, as well as mediation of nerve and vascular functions. Everything that comes out of the blood takes a complicated route through the connective tissue to the cell, and then into the lymphatic system. It is even more vital to the health of the human body because the nerves and blood vessels do not come into direct contact with the cells at any point, therefore, the ECM becomes the mediator for nervous and nutritional flow. Since connective tissue is really a living part of the body, everything attributable to the life and health of the body, and all its basic functions, have to be attributed to the extra cellular matrix.

The extra cellular matrix provides the communication of connective tissue over the entire organism. The entire field of activity and information related to communication is the extra cellular fluid. Connective tissue is found everywhere between the bloodstream and the principal structural parts. Everything that comes out of the blood takes a complicated route through the connective tissue to the primary, functioning cell, and then into the lymphatic system, which is connected with it. It takes care of cell nutrition through internal circulation of water, and the removal of wastes. It regulates the cell's environment and is part of every defense process.

The extra cellular matrix is connected to the endocrine gland system via the capillaries, and the central nervous system via the peripheral nerve endings. Since both systems are connected to each other in the brain stem, superior regulatory centers can be influenced by the ECM. The advantage of the interconnection of these systems results in a significant increase in the performance capacity of the ECM, which can only be attained by highly functional, interconnected set of systems, functioning as one. (Pischinger, 1975).

"The Fischer Principle of Bio-Hydro Dynamics." © 2000. Dr. Rose Fischer.

Dr. Rose Fischer, a chiropractic practitioner in St. Louis, has treated a large patient population with Attention Deficit Deficiency, a neurologic disorder affecting sensory-motor learning and behavior. This has created an educational problem of great proportion because it is treated commonly as a behavioral disorder, thus inappropriately managed. As a result of her experience, Dr. Fischer was able to identify common factors among this population, which distinguishes them from non-ADD persons. The two most critical, she discovered, are dehydration and a bio-magnetic deficit in neurotransmission. In her attempt to identify the role of these distinguishing factors in ADD, she developed the "Fischer Principle of Bio-Hydro Dynamics", based on her knowledge of the extra cellular matrix as the facilitator of intercellular communication.

Attention Deficit Disorder is a communication deficit in neurotransmitters, including weak, inter-neural synaptic responses, as a result of a decrease in intracellular hydration and bio-magnetic energy. A breakdown in neurotransmission involves an impedance of water transportation across the cell membrane, resulting in intracellular dehydration. An acidic pH also impedes neuro-activity. Acidity triggers a stress response, which increases the histamine level, placing oxidative stress on the cell membrane. The channel gates are blocked, reducing intracellular hydration. She believes that it is these factors that affect neural activity and may be responsible for what is known as ADD.

According to Dr. Fischer, learning can be improved by increasing hydration and bio-magnetism in the brain, thus improving bio-communication and nutritional assimilation. The brain must maintain an adequate hydration level in order for neurotransmission to remain active.

No other organ is as dependent on a constant internal environment as the brain. Other body tissues can withstand some fluctuations in the balance of hormones, ions and nutrients. However, when the brain is exposed to erratic, neuro-chemical changes, uncontrolled neural activity could result.

Fortunately, there are structures on capillary walls of the brain, called blood-brain barriers. Of water-soluble substances, only water, glucose and essential amino acids can pass easily through the capillary walls. Although these blood-brain barriers keep metabolic wastes from entering brain tissue, toxicity may find a way to enter in the water, thus creating a destructive force on brain tissue. Only when water has the ability to interact with bio-magnetism in our body can the many requirements that assure consistency of health and balance in the brain be accomplished.

The Scientific Study of Bioenergy Healing: Is it Real or is it Just the Placebo Effect? Excerpts from Gerber, Richard (1988). Vibrational Medicine, Santa Fe, NM: Bear & Co.

The increased acceptance of Therapeutic Touch-type therapies is due partly to a growing body of research that tends to validate some of the physiological changes and healing benefits claimed by TT practitioners. Scientific research has shown Therapeutic Touch healing to be effective in reducing anxiety, producing states of deep relaxation, and accelerating the healing of surgical wounds...

One of the earliest pioneering scientists to study the physiological effects of hands-on healing was Dr. Bernard Grad, a gerontologist at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. During the early 1960s, Grad became intrigued by the phenomenon of laying-on-of-hands healing, so much so that he set out to find a way to establish whether such healings were the result of psychological effects (as most critics of the practice believed) or true energy effects produced by healers. He sought a way of proving or disproving the popular notion that healers' effects were simply due to the power of the mind triggered by a person's belief system (the so-called placebo effect).

Grad chose plants and animals for his experiments, because physiological changes produced by laying on of his hands in a sick plant or an ailing animal would have to be attributed to something other than the placebo effect. Grad initially chose sick plants as his first nonhuman test subjects. Obviously, plants or seeds cannot "believe in" the healing powers of a particular healer or of a higher spiritual power. Since laying-on-of-hands requires a "sick patient" to work on in order to demonstrate its healing effects, Grad had to devise a way to create a sick plant.

To do so, he watered barley seeds with a saline solution, since salt is a known inhibitor of plant growth. If a healer could positively affect the germination rate of saline-treated seeds, as well as their subsequent plant growth, the healer's influence would have to come from something other than the power of belief. Grad persuaded Oskar Estebany, a local healer, to "treat" one of two sealed flasks of salt water (simply labeled bottle X and bottle Y) using his healing touch. Only Grad would know whether bottle X or Y was the healer-treated salt water, thus excluding any influence on the experiment that might be unconsciously attributed to experimenter expectation. His lab assistants watered two groups of barley seeds with saline from either bottle X or Y and then allowed time for the seeds to germinate and sprout. After the seeds had sprouted, the seedlings were planted in identical pots filled with soil and watered with normal, untreated water.

At the end of several weeks, Grad compared the two groups of plants. Grad discovered that the plants watered with healer-treated saline were markedly different from his control plants. When compared with the control group, barley seeds that had been watered with healer-treated saline sprouted more frequently and produced taller, leafier plants with higher levels of chlorophyll, at statistically significant levels. This meant that the differences between treated and untreated plants could not have been due to chance alone.

Grad's results in the plant experiment pointed to a number of interesting conclusions. Specifically, Grad had shown that laying-on-of-hands healing produced real, measurable effects in living systems above and beyond any possible psychological effects that might have been due to the power of belief. In addition, Grad had proven that healer-charged water could positively influence plant growth. Based on these findings, Grad suspected that the healer had actually imparted "something" to the water that was able to positively influence the growth of living organisms.

Exactly what is exchanged between healer and patient during such therapeutic interactions remains something of a debate among alternative-health-care professionals. While many have suggested that laying-on-of-hands healing involves a transfer of life-energy force from healer to patient, there are others who propose that such "healings" are related to a resonant-field interaction between healer and patient. Still other theorists claim that all the observed effects result from the consciousness of the healer and the patient interacting at some "higher" or "non local" level of quantum reality. But no matter which model of healing one favors, for the model to be valid it must explain how a healer can alter the nature of a simple saline solution so it boosts the growth rate of plants. In other words, does the healer, merely transfer the life energy into the water, or, alternatively, might he or she actually transmit some kind of "healing bioinformation" into the water that triggers healing and accelerated growth in plants and other living systems?

Perhaps healers are able to charge water with subtle magnetic life-force energy that carries with it some sort of healing bio-informational pattern, not unlike the pattern one might find in flower essences, homeopathic medicines, and other aqueous-based vibrational remedies. On the other hand, the subtle life energy transferred to the water might have been all that was needed to stimulate the salt-soaked barley seeds to germinate and grow.

Dr. Grad and other researchers have noted a striking similarity between magnetic fields and healer's energy fields. As an additional variation on his plant experiment, Grad watered barley seeds with magnet-treated salt water using the same protocol he had established earlier. He discovered that magnetised saline not only accelerated plant growth, it produced more vigorous growth-stimulating effects than even healer-treated water. There seemed to be a kind of "qualitative" similarity between a healer's energies and the energy field of a permanent magnet. Both healers' energy fields and magnetic fields could easily penetrate the glass walls of Dr. Grad's sealed bottles of saline, endowing the salt water with growth-promoting qualities. Grad's findings support the idea that the life-force energy emitted by a healer's hands is actually a kind of "animal magnetism," a distant cousin to the "iron-fillings-attracting" form of ferromagnetism.

Dr. Grad's research spurred a number of other investigators to further explore the physiological reasons behind the effects of laying-hands-on healing. Dr. Justa Smith, a biochemist who had spent a great deal of time studying how strong magnetic fields could accelerate enzyme activity, was one of these inspired individuals. Like Grad, Dr. Smith discovered that there were certain qualitative similarities between healers' bioenergy fields and high-intensity magnetic fields. Both the healer's field and a strong magnetic field could accelerate enzyme activity...

While most of the healing research at the time of Smith's and Grad's studies was focused on healing effects on plants, animals, enzymes, bacteria, or physical systems, few had actually studied their effect on human beings. Dr. Dolores Krieger, a professor of nursing at NYU School of Nursing, began to carry out what would become seminal research into the nature of healing regarding its effects upon people, and also with regard to its potential as a learned skill. In order to study a healer's influence on actual sick human beings, Krieger brought together Grad's healer (Mr. Estabany) with two groups of patients on a farm outside New York. The two groups of patients had been diagnosed with a variety of illnesses. The only difference between the experiences of the two groups was that one group received daily laying-on-of-hands treatment sessions with the healer while the other group did not.

In her attempts to prove that healers produced measurable physiological changes in sick individuals, Krieger searched for some parameter of body functions whose changes might indicate a healing response. In reviewing Grad's healing research with Mr. E, Krieger noted that plants exposed to healing energy were found to be richer in chlorophyll, a key molecule that is structurally similar to hemoglobin in human beings. Was it possible that humans might have a similar rise in their blood-hemoglobin levels following healing treatment sessions?

Krieger measured hemoglobin levels in both the healer-treated and control groups. When compared with the control group, patients receiving healing from Mr. Estebany showed rises in their hemoglobin levels, and at statistically significant levels. What most impressed Krieger, however, were the follow-up reports from patients who had patients who had received healing treatments from Mr. E. The healer-treated group of patients had come with a wide range of medical diagnoses, including pancreatitis, brain tumor, emphysema, multiple endocrine problems, rheumatoid arthritis, and congestive heart failure. Krieger was astonished by both the medical reports and first-person accounts of patients who had experienced either an improvement in or a complete disappearance of their disease-related symptoms after being "treated" by Mr. E.

Two subsequent replication studies produced similar rises in hemoglobin levels along with symptom amelioration in the healer-treated groups of patients. The tendency of healing energy to raise hemoglobin levels is sometimes so strong, it will occur in the face of medical factors that tend to decrease blood hemoglobin. To illustrate, some cancer patients who are receiving treatments from healers are also taking bone-marrow-suppressive anticancer drugs that tend to produce anemia (abnormally low hemoglobin levels). Surprisingly, some cancer patients receiving chemotherapy have been found to have dramatic increases in their hemoglobin levels, to the puzzlement of their oncologists (who are often unaware that these patients are also being treated by a healer). (pp.370-376).

Dehydration

WHAT IS CHRONIC DEHYDRATION?

Imagine a juicy plum picked from the tree and left exposed to the sun or wind - it becomes a prune. The dehydration of the plum produces the shriveled interior and wrinkled skin that are typical of a drying fruit. Loss of water causes the internal and external structures of living things to change, be that dehydration in a fruit or in a person.

There are up to one hundred trillion cells in the body of a human being. Depending on the area where the dehydration has settled most, the cells in that region begin to wrinkle, and their inner functions are affected. A shortage of water in any region is reflected by different signals that denote dehydration and are the body's indicators of its local general thirst. At present, these indicators of dehydration of the body are not understood and are treated as indicators of disease conditions of unknown origin.

IDENTIFYING DEHYDRATION

We now need to find the answer to these three important questions. A must-do before we begin: You need to turn on your brain's logic powers and put aside any preconceived ideas you might have. Whatever you have read about health matters in the past probably did not reflect the true importance of water to health and well-being.

From my perspective, there are three different sets of sensations that signal local or general thirst. At most of these stages, the presenting symptoms are reversible without much damage.

THE GENERAL PERCEPTIVE "FEELINGS"

This include feeling tired, feeling flushed, feeling irritable, feeling anxious, feel dejected, feeling depressed, not sleeping well, feeling heavy headed, having irresistible cravings, and having a fear of crowds and leaving the house. Some of these will be discussed in the next chapter.

THE DROUGHT-MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

The second group of conditions that represent indicators of dehydration are the body's drought and resource management programs. There are five distinct conditions that denote states of dehydration and operative rationing processes that can be corrected easily. The sixth in this group consists of a number of conditions that have been classified as autoimmune diseases, but should be looked at as a sort of cannibalistic process of resource management at the expense of the body's own tissues brought about by persistent dehydration. The conditions are:

  1. Asthma
  2. Allergies
  3. Hypertension
  4. Constipation
  5. Type II diabetes
  6. Autoimmune disease

THE MORE DRASTIC EMERGENCY INDICATORS OF LOCAL DEHYDRATION

After much clinical and scientific research, my understanding is this: Depending on the location of acid buildup inside the cells, the following forms of pain are early indicators of potential genetic damage produced by chronic dehydration in the human body:

  1. Heartburn
  2. Dyspeptic pain
  3. Anginal pain
  4. Lower back pain
  5. Rheumatoid joint pains, including ankylosing spondylitis
  6. Migraine headaches
  7. Colitis pain
  8. Fibromyalgic pains
  9. Bulimia
  10. Morning sickness during pregnancy

There is a further set of conditions that represent complications, tissue transformation and organ damage caused by persistent dehydration in the fourth dimension, time. Each of these conditions will be explained thoroughly.

NEWLY RECOGNIZED THIRST PERCEPTIONS

The following are perceptive feelings (some of which are labeled "psychological disorders") that I believe signal dehydration:

  1. Feeling tired without a plausible reason. Waster is the main source of energy formation in the body. Even the food that is supposed to be a good source of energy has no value to the body until it is hydrolyzed by water and energized in the process. Furthermore, the energy source for neurotransmission and for the operational directives that get things done is hydroelectricity, which is formed in the nerve pathways and their connection to the muscles and joints in the body.
  2. Feeling flushed. When the body is dehydrated, and the brain cannot draw sufficient water from the circulation to satisfy its needs, it commands a proportionate dilation of the blood vessels that reach it. Furthermore, the face is not a simple organ that supports two eyes, a mouth, a nose and two ears. It is a receptor dish with an abundant supply of nerve endings that constantly monitor the environment and report their information to the brain. In other words, the face is an extension of the brain with highly sensitive functions. Its nerve endings need to be hydrated too; hence the increased circulation to the face at the same time as the brain gets its increased blood supply. If you see someone with a red nose and flushed face - often seen in alcoholics, because alcohol truly dehydrates the brain, leading to hangover headaches - that person is dehydrated and in need of water.
  3. Feeling irritable and unreasonably short-tempered. Irritability is a copout process so as not to engage in a brain-energy-consuming involvement beyond that particular moment. Give irritable people a couple of glasses of water and you will see them calm down and become fairly amiable.
  4. Feeling anxious. This is a perceptive way in which the frontal party of the brain can reflect its concern over water shortage in its domain of activity. I cannot imagine a more eloquent way for the thinking brain to reflect its anxiety about dehydration in the body to its delinquent owner. Obviously, when the body wanted water, it must have been given other beverages that did not satisfy its real needs.
  5. Feeling dejected and inadequate. The capital assets of anybody are its essential amino acid reserved. These types of amino acids are used in so many different functions, including neurotransmission that their shortage in the body means loss of assets that the brain assesses as insufficient and inadequate for its undertakings. Dehydration depletes some of these amino acids incessantly, and this shortage triggers a feeling of dejection.
  6. Feeling depressed. This heralds a more serious phase of dehydration, in which the body, in the absence of water, has to use up some of its vital assets as antioxidants to cope with the toxic waste of metabolism that has not been cleared by sufficient production of urine. These assets include the amino acids trytophan (pronounced trip-toh-fan) and tyrosine, which are sacrificed in the liver as antioxidants to neutralize toxic waste. For the manufacture if serotonin, melatonin, tryptamine and indolamine, the brain uses tryptophan; all of these elements are vital neurotransmitters that are used to balance and integrate body functions. If they are inadequate in the body, depression sets in. tyrosine ius another amino acid that the brain uses to manufacture adrenaline, noradrenaline, and dopamine, which are the "go-getter" neurotransmitters. There insufficient activity will ground a person into inactivity and a sorrowful state of mind.

An article on depression in the Washington Post of Tuesday May 7, 2002, revealed a deep-rooted deception by the pharmaceutical industry. Headlined AGAINST DEPRESSION, A SUGAR PILL IS HARD TO BEAT,  the article exposes how the drug industry has bent the truth in clinical trials to show an edge in favor of Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft, whereas a simple sugar pill - placebo - produced more positive results in relieving depression. This article sumise4s that the splendid results of the sugar pill against much-touted drugs could be because, in the clinical trials, the subjects received much more attention and care than a depressed person who visits the doctor for a few minutes a month. It seems there is an infinitely greater healing power within a person who is cared for. In medicine there used to be a dictum, now forgotten - "the duty of a doctor is to amuse the patient while nature heals". Doctors have to show empathy to their patients.

Now that I am addressing the role of water in emotional problems, let me quote from a reader review of my book Your Body's Many Cries for Water, posted on the Barnes & Noble Web site, http://www.bn.com/, M.S. writes: " ‘Water' has made a difference in my life". It seems that M.S. had been diagnosed with mild manic depression and had been given lithium for four to five years. He says he started on water and salt and some vitamins, according to the instructions in the book, and within two months he was able to stop taking his lithium. He has been visiting his doctors for nine years without significant improvement, and no writes, "My LIFE has been truly ENHANCED from reading this book"

  1. Feeling heavy-headed. This is the sign that the brain is commanding more circulation for its needs. It could be the heralding sensation for a migraine headache that may ensue if the increased blood flow to the brain down not result in adequate hydration of the brain cells. Do not forget that the brain cells, in their constant activity, produce toxic waste of metabolism, which must be cleared at all times. The brain cells cannot endure a buildup of acidic materials in their interior environment. The initial heaviness felt in the head could reflect this phase of brain physiology.
  2. Disturbed sleep, particularly in the elderly. The body will not have a restful night's sleep if its short of water. A full eight hours' sleep will further dehydrate the body because much water is lost in respiration and possible perspiration under heavy bedcovers. If the body receives water and a little salt, sleep rhythm will be reestablished immediately.
  3. Anger and quick temper. These more expressive ways of showing dehydration were explained in section 3 under the heading Feeling Irritable.
  4. Unreasonable impatience. Maintaining your patience to stay on course or an assignment is an energy-consuming undertaking for the brain. If it doesn't have a sufficient stored reserve of energy, it has to put an end to the undertaking as quickly as possible. This process of quick disengagement is labeled "impatience". Don't forget, water manufactures hydroelectric energy at a rate that can replenish the used-up amount. Energy from food had to go through many steps of molecular conversion until it is stored in the energy pools in the cells. Even this process needs water for hydrolysis to make the components of food usable as sources of energy.
  5. very short attention span. This is another disengagement process for the brain that needs energy to focus on a topic or a learning process. The more hydrated the brain, the more energy it can manufacture to imprint new information in its memory banks. Attention deficit disorder in children is similarly produced by dehydration when children choose sodas as their preferred drinks.
  6. Shortness of breath in an otherwise healthy person without lung disease or infection. People who want to exercise without feeling short of breath should drink water before they exert themselves in any form of physical activity.
  7. Cravings for manufactured beverages such as coffee, tea, sodas and alcoholic drinks. This is the way your brain tells you that you need to be hydrated. These cravings are based on a condition reflex that associates hydration with the intake of these beverages, which actually dehydrate the body further. The process of continuous dehydration is stressful and causes the brain to secrete stress hormones, which include endorphins - the natural opiates of the body that help it get through its environmental crisis. One of the reasons why people continue drinking these beverages is their increasing addiction. This is why caffeine and alcohol are addictive substances and cause withdrawal symptoms. The next stage to this kind of addiction could be the use of harder drugs that put a constant drive on endorphin secretion by the body. Thus, if children are to be directed toward a drug-free form of life, it should start with eliminating caffeine from their diets.
  8. Dreaming of oceans, rivers or other bodies of water is a form of subconsciously generated association to reach a source of water to quench thirst. The brain has a tendency to stimulate an experience in order to give instructions to the person to perform a function, even in deep sleep.

THE PRIMARY DROUGHT - AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS

From the vantage point of the new medical science, the following conditions should be considered labels placed on the physiological processes in the body that denote a form of rationing and resource management where there is a limited supply of free water and other primary elements:

  1. Asthma
  2. Allergies
  3. Hypertension, or high blood pressure
  4. Type II diabetes
  5. Constipation
  6. Autoimmune diseases

If you don't drink water regularly every day of your life, and don't understand the significance of pain, shortness of breath, and allergies as signs of dehydration, you will force your body into a disease state. Any of the above conditions will herald the beginnings of body decay produced by local or general water shortage and the associated chemical environmental changes.

Reversal of autoimmune conditions is not easy and not always possible. To reverse them requires an in depth understanding of the importance of the acid-alkaline balance and the metabolic aspects associated with dehydration, such as the loss of a range of amino acids, insufficient absorption or loss of vital minerals like zinc and magnesium, and the absolute need for essential vitamins and fatty acids.

ASTHMA AND ALLERGIES

What is asthma? It is said people have asthma when they become short of breadth, without any warning to the point of nearly suffocating. Several thousand people die from suffocation due to asthma every year. Sometimes the onset of asthma is associated with repeated dry coughs with each breadth. There is always an associated wheezing when exhaling, without an apparent infection in the lungs. Asthma affects more than seventeen million Americans, mostly children. I believe that asthma and allergies are the body's crisis calls for water. They denote a state of dehydration in the human body. They herald continuing degeneration of the body until other complications of dehydration get established and can cause early death.

My experience and research tell me that the body possesses a number of highly sophisticated emergency thirst signals. We need to be aware of these newly identified indicators of water shortage in our body. All you may need to do to cure some of your health problems is to drink water instead of other fluids.

Question: What has all this got to do with asthma?

Answer: Asthma and allergy - conditions mainly treated with different kinds of antihistamine medications - are important indicators of dehydration in the body. Histamine is an important neurotransmitter that primarily regulates the thirst mechanism, for increased water intake. It also establishes a system of rationing for the available water in the drought-stricken body. Histamine is a most noble element employed in drought management of the body. It is not the villain that we have been led to believe due to our limitation of knowledge about the human body.

In dehydration, histamine production and its activity increase greatly, and this generates the emergency thirst signals and indicators of the water rationing program that is taking place. Increased histamine release in the lungs cause spasms of the bronchioles, making them constrict. This natural spasmodic action of histamine on the bronchial tubes is part of the design of the body to conserve water that normally evaporates during breathing - the winter ‘steam'.

In dehydration, lung tissue becomes very vulnerable. The air sacs in the lungs have very thin walls and need water to keep them moist at all times. The constant flow of air through these sacs also evaporates the available water in the lining. Dehydration automatically reduces the amount of available water in these tissues and causes damage, unless the rate of the airflow is reduced. In essence, this is the rationale behind the blockage of airflow through the lungs in asthmatics. Histamine is responsible for cutting down the rate of airflow through the lungs. It causes constriction of the bronchioles that are attached to the air sacs. Histamine also stimulates the production of added amounts of thick and viscous mucus that partially plug the bronchioles and protect the lining of the bronchioles themselves. All these actions of histamine in dehydration are carried out to protect the delicate passageways of the body that are in direct contact with the outside air and could easily become dried up and parched if not protected.

ALLERGIES AND THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

When we become dehydrated, histamine sees to it that the available water in the body is well preserved and distributed according to a priority of function. The rate of histamine production in the body increases exponentially when the body becomes more and more dehydrated.

Supplying the body with water causes a disappearance of histamine from areas where it should not be present. With adequate water supply, histamine production, and its excess release, is inhibited proportionately. This relationship of water to histamine has been demonstrated in several animal experiments. It is now physiologically apparent that water by itself has very strong natural antihistamine properties.

IMMUNE SYSTEM SUPPRESSION

There are certain white cells that are sensitive to histamine and that strongly inhibit the activity of the immune system in the bone marrow. There are twice as many of these white cells as there are cells that stimulate the immune system. Thus, dehydration that can cause the production and release of more than a certain amount of histamine may, i
